Overview of job 
The Director – Compliance will be based in Gurugram office of GroupM OOH Solutions. The position works closely with the Managing Director and Head of Finance, GroupM OOH Solutions. The purpose of this position is to ensure seamless operations in GroupM OOH Solutions.
 
Objectives of this role 
  • Developing, implementing and enforcing procedures and policies to ensure the organisation's compliance with industry and government regulations.
  • Consistent risk assessments to recognise areas where the company might be vulnerable to non-compliance.
  • Working with other departments in the company, such as the Legal, Management Review (MR), Human Resources and Finance team(s), to ensure compliance of all departments.
 
 
The indicative list of duties this position is expected to perform includes:
 
  • Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them
  • Proactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses
  • Evaluate business activities to assess compliance risk
  • Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation
  • Educate and train employees on Company and industry practices
  • Address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance
  • Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals
 
 
Required skills and qualifications
  • Professional qualification, CA or equivalent with over 10 years of relevant experience in Internal controls and processes, Adherence to Company policies, audits and compliance.
 
  • Thorough knowledge of the industry standards, laws and regulations in India.
 
  • Demonstrable experience in compliance and risk management.
 
  • Experience in conducting audits and investigations and providing relevant strategies.

  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and requirements of the Company;
 
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills;
 
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with other functions/ Agencies
